Fellowship in Facial Aesthetics (14 Days)

Home Fellowship in Facial Aesthetics (14 Days)

Why you should sign up for this course at International Academy of Facial Cosmetic Surgery ™?

To think that Facial Aesthetics is only shooting Botox & Filler injections into the face, is both simplistic & incorrect.

The fact is that Facial Aesthetics has rapidly expanded, with newer technologies coming into the market over the past few years.
Today, we have many modalities, which can transform the face. Botox, Fillers, Lasers, Ulthera, Facial threads, Kybella and Coolsculpting are only some of modalities available to people today.

While introduction to these modalities is important, a physician super specialising in Facial Aesthetics also needs to have greater & deeper understanding of the elements of Facial Cosmetic Surgery.

It is only when you know what can be achieved through surgeries like Blepharoplasty, Ptosis, Face Lifts, Hair Transplants, Chin & Cheek Implants, Neck Lifts & Facial Liposuction, that you can give a more comprehensive treatment plan to your patients.

Knowing what non surgical treatments can deliver is important, but only in the backdrop of knowing what surgery can achieve, so that you can give the best solution to your patients in terms of risks, benefits & advantages of each procedure, thus allowing you to individualize your treatment protocol to each patients’ individual issues.

Dramatic changes can be achieved with the correct use facial contouring techniques. The most common areas that are injected in facial contouring are:

Cheeks: To restore prominence to cheekbones and ogee’s curve and create a definition of mid face region.

Jaws: To create a more defined jawline.

Masseter- to give a more slimmer appearance to the balance and restore the golden ratio of the face.

Chin: Correction of side profile appearance and a better proportion to the lower face.

Temples: To define the face and create balance in the upper face, and also for non-surgical brow lifting.

Neck- Removing the neck bands and tightening of the Neck bands non-surgically.

Lips- Aligning the proportion of the lips, with respect to the face. Also Lip Augmentation if desired by the patient.

A facial aesthetic practitioner has to have an in depth understanding of the fundamental as well as advanced aspects of facial contouring and should be able to asses and diagnose the patient on the basis of the same. Face morphology, balance and symmetry are three major assessment areas that we will cover in our Fellowship in Facial Aesthetics.
